FATES WARNING Announces U.S. Tour Dates

U.S. progressive metal pioneers FATES WARNING have announced the first run of tour dates in support of their latest album, "Theories Of Flight". The trek will kick off on June 11 in Poughkeepsie, New York and end on July 1 in Allston, Massachusetts.

FATES WARNING vocalist Ray Alder checked in with the following comment: "We are very excited to finally announce the first leg of the U.S. tour for 'Theories Of Flight'. We know that this news has been a long time coming, but it's finally here and we are ready to once again hit the States in support of a new album. The European tour was amazing, and we are anticipating nothing less from our home crowd. We can't wait to see our fans again. Get your tickets now. Thank you all!"

"Theories Of Flight" was released last July via InsideOut Music. The cover artwork for the CD was created by Michigan artist Graceann Warn.

Performed by the FATES WARNING lineup that returned to form with 2013's acclaimed "Darkness In A Different Light" release, "Theories Of Flight" was produced by guitarist Jim Matheos and mixed/mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios (OPETH, SYMPHONY X).

Frank Aresti contributed a couple solos on the new record, but due to his current work commitments, he is not be able to tour with FATES WARNING. He is being temporarily replaced by Mike Abdow, who is described by Aresti as "a great guitarist and a great guy."
